Watford CVS continues advising voluntary and community groups on where to go for funding and has funding programmes for your use.

Funderfinder and Grantfinder – What are they?

Both Funderfinder and Grantfinder are computer software databases that identify fund providers.

How Can I Access These Programmes?

Both Funderfinder and Grantfinder are available at Watford CVS week days.
Please make an appointment by phoning 01923 254400 or e-mail funding@watfordcvs.net.

We aim to provide a service tailored to your needs.  You will be trained in the use of either programme and how it works.  A search session normally takes approximately two hours.

To get the most out of the visit you need to consider the following points before attending the appointment:

• The kind of organisation you are
• How much money you need to raise
• What the money will be used for
• The kind of people who will benefit.

You can also be shown how to access sources of funding on the internet.

Find a Funder

Find a Finder is a bi- monthly publication compiled by the CVS which lists up-to-date funding streams nationally and locally.  It is free to members of the CVS.  Contact the CVS on 01923 254400 to be put on the mailing list.

Further Funding Support

In addition to be able to access sources of funding, help is on hand to guide you in the completion of your application forms, bid letters and (for larger fund requests) business and project plans.
