Watford Council for Voluntary Service works to strengthen the local voluntary sector by:

• Assisting voluntary organisations, especially new and emerging groups, to develop their infrastructure.
• Supporting the on going work of voluntary and community groups.
• Helping management committee members, staff and volunteers improve their skills and knowledge.
• Advising on policies, procedures and voluntary sector legislation.
• Encouraging networking opportunities for voluntary and community groups.
